This patch series updates the X server to the enter/leave event model proposed by Owen Taylor a few months back [1]. Instead of the current model where some Enter or Leave events are only suppressed, this model actually adjusts each model to be true for a local scope.
This only applies to core events, device events are still being sent unconditionally. Note that this patch was one big patch split up into multiple ones to ease review. While each patch compiles, I haven't tested them separately. Also, more testing is needed (especially the grab cases) before it can go upstream but I'd appreciate any early review.
