please file a bug report, because the information is getting spread across too many emails now and I'm losing track. synaptics and evdev are two different drivers, so you probably have to file two separate bugs. Don't forget to attach your Xorg.log. Oh, and no pastebin links from bugzilla please, makes it harder to find all the stuff.
