-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Is Xrandr supposed to allow me to alter the nominal DPI and physical screen size (mm) of a running X server? I tried to do
xrandr --dpi 200 and the windows repainted themselves but nothing changed. I tried --fbmm too. Either way, xrandr didn't report any change in nominal display size. Am I understanding the purpose of this control correctly? I am running X 1.3.0 on an intel 945 (Thinkpad), so maybe this is a missing feature that has been implemented in the intervening year? I would gladly accept a pointer to the Xrandr docs if this feature is in fact documented.
