Can you pastebin the full log and the full config.

Did you keep this line?
modeline        "1280x1...@lcd" 108 1280 1326 1440 1688 1024 1025 1028 1066

AFAIK EDID tells the card about supported modes and timings. Without it you need
a manual modeline.
