If DOS only, boot some kind of DOS disk, CD, stick or floppy, then run the .exe. I doubt the 450 BIOS was updated since Matrox started using EXE instead of ZIP BIOS archives. The important thing to remember about BIOS updates is they usually require only a plain jane DOS boot to work.
