hmm.. tough to say.. my guess is to look into the kernel and find the *.c that has the keycodes and change it to the keycode using one of the tools i.g. xev etc..., or localy just adjust .Xmodmap, or xorg.conf (but keep in mind could be wrong); hope this helps.
