Isn't there some buttons Well, there is a "USB Monitor Control Class" defined, so you can connect a monitor which supports this to a USB port and control its settings via USB, using a tool like hidmin. This works at least with Eizo monitors. I don't what other vendors support this. It's a cool feature. You can adjust display parameters automatically depending what out are doing (normal tasks, watching a movie etc.).
