The second stable release for the X server 1.8 series is now available. As previously announced, no new commits over RC2 and no-one threatened me with extradition over the DRI2 backports - hence they're staying in.
This is the last regular 1.8 release unless someone else wants to take over
as RM. Until that happens, the server-1.8-branch is open. If you have
patches that you think are necessary for the 1.8 series, please push them
there.
