Walt- I forgot to include one piece of very important information. I have been attempting to start Xorg via a remote machine using Terminal. Last night I decided to connect a monitor to the server and I discovered that the problem is probably a pilot error. As a result of my "screw up", when my server boots up it now starts the GUI. Now I need to search the web to get some help on how to prevent my server from starting GDM.
