Having just finished a successful XDC in Germany, the X.Org Foundation Board would like to request proposals to organize next year's XDC. If you are interested, please email the board ([email protected]) with your proposal. Some things to keep in mind:
- We generally switch between the Eastern and Western Hemispheres. Since the 2012 XDC was in Europe, the 2013 XDC would ideally be in the Americas. - Target ~50-60 attendees - Location should be near hotels/dorms/etc. and public transportation if possible - Availability of catering and restaurants for snacks and dinners - Rough cost estimates - Suggested dates (conference is usually 3 days) - Possible cultural events nearby Please send your initial proposals to the Board by the end of November 2012.
