Ah well .. I'll should just await the 6.4 release. I figure it can't be far
down the road from this :
$ cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.3 (Santiago)
Of course one wonders .. why not just run the NVidia drivers for Linux ?
A brief search on the NVidia site reveals :
Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T) Display Driver
-------------------------------------------------------
Version: 304.64 Certified
Release Date: 2012.11.06
Operating System: Linux 64-bit
Language: English (U.S.)
File Size: 64.5 MB
Which makes me wonder .. what damage that could do to my otherwise wonderful
RHEL workstation. In any case .. the open source drivers may be "good enough"
and I could
wait 6.4 or roll the dice with the NVidia software.
Either way I wonder if the ATI graphics cards are a better choice.
