I'm running Linux Mint 15 64 bit with the Cinnamon desktop interface.

The FOSS drivers are running the game Counter-Strike source very poorly. The
motion is so slow and lag like that the game in virtually unplayable. I
previously had fixed this issue by installing the drivers from AMD, but the
latest upgrade to Linux Mint uses an updated x.org graphics server that is
incompatible with the legacy drivers. Please troubleshoot this issue and
relieve the Linux gaming community on having to rely on proprietary software
and drivers. Counter-Strike source can be found the Valve's Steam game store.
