Can someone here help me with the following query? I'm an Apple Yosemite user
and am seeking to play a video game that requires the X11 component (part of
XQuartz). I've downloaded the XQuartz package from the relevant webpage
(http://xquartz.macosforge.org/landing/), but when I try and open the said
game, I get an error message telling me that the X11 component is missing, even
though it's been installed. Is that because of an incompatibility between
Yosemite and the current version of XQuartz (the webpage only mentions OSX
Mavericks)? If so, are there plans to release a Yosemite-compatible version of
XQuartz, and approximately when should we expect it?
