Here it doesn't return an error, but is stuck with nvidia:

$ DRI_PRIME=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=mesa glxinfo | grep vendor
server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
client glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation

I'll try to ask in the Mesa forum. If I have any success, I'll post here.
