Hi Everybody, Few days ago I decided to buy a galaxy note tablet. In my search for a PDF annotator/writing app for it I found an open source one: quill.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.write.Quill&hl=en the interesting aspects of quill is that the author (Volker) has been interested in making it compatible with Xournal. He claims that the performance issues of the platform make it unfeasible to use a XML-based format in Android (quill uses is a binary format). Instead, he is providing a conversion tool: https://github.com/vbraun/QuillDesktop/ He is currently developing it. It is not complete (it does not convert lines nor images) but it is just a matter of time. If anybody has an android tablet this is an interesting tool to use. there also some features in the android writing apps that might be worth exploring in xournal. --dmg -- Daniel M.
