There's also issues trackers (for bugs, feature-requests, and patches 
separately) on sourceforge.net.

Those have the advantage of already being in place; but presumably they 
are more appropriate for issues with the stable version. (So the github 
trackers might be a better place indeed, or a bugzilla if someone really 
is willing to bother setting one up and looking at it. Personally I'm 
following closely the mailing-list and the sourceforge trackers, and 
probably won't have time to look in half-a-dozen different places.).
