Hi all, I have a Thinkpad X1 Yoga. While this is not a tablet, its digitizer should be equivalent to the one in recent Lenovo tablets. I'm very happy with how it works with Xournal under Linux. In fact, handwriting feels more natural than on my 7-year-old HP convertible with Wacom EMR. There are a few hardware issues that are only noticeable if you look for them: drawing _very_ slowly results in jittery lines, and diagonal straight lines drawn with a ruler are not perfectly straight (there are small "bumps" at regular intervals). These are well-known drawbacks of the Wacom AES technology, AFAIK. On the other hand, palm rejection is close to perfect. It took me some time to figure out how to make sure that two stylus buttons work the way I like them to. Turns out that they are not buttons 2 and 3, but rather eraser and button 2. Lower button works on contact only, while the top one activates during hover as well.
Concerning the setup, I run Debian 8.3 stable ("jessie") with kernel 4.5.1 and Intel X.org driver taken from "jessie-backports". The only thing I had to manually recompile was Wacom kernel module. I also had to manually include nvme.ko module into the initramfs image in order to be able to boot. Everything else that matters worked out of the box. Didn't play with accelerometer yet. Best, --- Alex.
