Dear all,
I have been used xournal to read and take notes on papers and books for a
long time. I love xournal because it is a very light and powerful software.
However, for reading and taking notes on papers and books it is very useful to
can search text on pdf background. I was testing xournalpp, which includes this
functionality and many others but it is slow and has a problem with the
absolute location of the pdf background directory, which is very troublesome
for me. I was looking at "Various third-party patches" on the xournal webpage
and I found a thread about "search text on pdf background" but I can not find
the implementation of this functionality. I would like any help on the "search
text on pdf background" funtionality for xournal.
