Hello,

Don't think this is the ideal place to ask this, but I wasn't able to find
info anywhere else, and you guys sure know a lot about display hardware...

        I have a DEC Model 724 17" monitor. It's your basic high-end, overpriced 17"
monitor from 1998. It has a DIN connector on the back labeled "Serial". The manual
only mentions it to say it's not used. It looks like it might be an S-Video
connection. Anyone know what this does and why it's there?
