It seens xfs is dying for some reason. Please try to recompile
(preferably the the latest CVS version) xfs with debug, and also
with the -DDEBUG compile time option. Then run xfs under gdb, with:
(gdb) r -port -1 -user xfs
start XFree86, and after xfs crashes, please post the backtrace.
If you just want to restart xfs, run as root:
/usr/X11R6/bin/xfs -port -1 -user xfs
