Hi,

I'm new to the mailing list so apologies if this is posted incorrectly.

Anyone ever come accross:

>>>>> Xlib: extension "XINERAMA" missing on display ":0.0".
>>>>> subshell.c: couldn't get terminal settings: Inappropriate ioctl for device

I have just finished installing RedHat 7.1 on my Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600. It all
seems to work fine, frame buffer mode is good, xwindows resolution works at 16bpp.
However when I go into an xwindows session and then log out again, the text console
characters go tiny in size (about a quarter of normal) and turn green.

Looking at the log, everything is great apart from the above message.

The graphics adapter is a Trident Cyber Blade and I am using the vesa graphics driver.
Are there any options I need to add to XF86Config? Is there a way I can change the
terminal resolution back to normal without having to reboot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A.
