Hi,
I have an IBM Laptop with an attached 1024x768 flat panel and an
external large flat panel. When I lock the display to the external
display, xfree86 only wants to display 1024x768. This is the native
attached panel resolution. Is it possible to force the external output
to 1600x1200. The X sees both panels during probing, but only wants to
do the 1024x768 native panel resolution. Are their any docs explaining
how to set this up or does anyone have any thoughts. The hardware is
definitely capable of the configuration that I am attempting, since I do
this with the same hardware under 2000. My X is running under OpenBSD2.9
if that has any importance.
