I just got that card working on my laptop. I used the latest CVS 4.1.99.1
source for XFree86 in order for it to work. I posted some of my XF86Config
files to my ftp server. Perhaps those will help. In addition, I compiled
the 2.4.9 kernel which has a recent radeon kernel module.
