In multi-head mode (including dual mode) with or without xinerama,
all keyboards and mice work on all screens.
If you want two separate screen/keyboard/mouse setups on one machine
you could try:

(If you have two mice on a dual head, and each mouse is tied to a
different screen, which one controls where keyboard input goes ?)
