Hi all,
i wonder if some of you "X-gurus" can help me.
The fact is that i have bought a Sony Hdm-a220 FD Trinitron monitor that
gives me a strange problem: at all video modes (but mostly at 1024x768)
there is
a background flow of horizontal lines moving down in the screen. This problem
is less evident at 800x600 and 640x480 but however is always present.
My XF86Config is generated by Mandrake and obviously the monitor is VESA
compliant.
My video card is Radeon but i've also tried an old Rage128 and the problem
is still present but slightly different (the flow of lines moves up!).
The last but important notation is that under Windows98 the problem disappears!
Hope you guys have some answers or hints !
