Hello all,
This question pertains to X in general, but mainly to KDrive. I would like to know if there are an complete documents describing the process required to configure and compile a working X Server with an X Terminal, etc. The server would optimally be a KDrive server with framebuffering included (I believe I know how to do this).
I would also like to know if there are any documents that describe what X does, and how (like "From Boot to Bash). This document would help me understand how X starts the terminal automatically, and how I could specify programs for X to start.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I fully understand that the developers of this project have their hands full with programming, and have no problems with that. I would just like to know if there is any place that helps people understand the configuration process before building the sources. Thanks in advance!!!
