Has anyone else had problems with VT switching with the i810 driver
since the DRI resync and/or the i830 additions about 2 weeks ago ?

I posted this to the private devel list at the time, but the problem
is still present with a build from last night's CVS.

This is with Linux 2.2.19, and hence no DRI.

Subject: i815 timing out on VT switch

The i810 driver is failing when I switch away from X.
Linux 2.2.19, today's CVS.

Possibly interesting bit below.

I'm guessing that it can't free the ring buffer when restoring the VT
state.
