Experimental Alpha DRI code for XFree 4.x is in a branch of the DRI CVS tree. See http://dri.sf.net for more. Xv (hardware color space conversion and scaling often used for motion video acceleration) support was done by the GATOS group and is available from them and also support is apparently in Xfree CVS. See http://linuxvideo.org for more on GATOS.
