Hello All, I am new to this list so please forgive the possible dumb questions, ok.
I am currently running Linux-Mandrake 8.0 with VNC as a service. This program allows for me to easly connect to my machine and is really nothing more than a graphical type telnet. When I connect on a particular port ( port 5959 for example) it will present me with the xdm login screen and allow me to login and run various applications. What I am interested in doing is to be able to detect which port I am connecting to in the Xsession and to run a particular application based upon that port detection. This might require me to even run an other gdm or kdm for example. My basic idea is to be able to run a particular application when the user logs into a specific port. Does someone know how this might be done easily? Cheers, Lonnie _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
