Hi there,

I have downloaded the CVS checkout 4.1.99_1 (on oct 17th) and compiled it
using "make World". This went without any problem and later on i did "make
install" which also went smooth. However, when i checked my "/etc/X11/xkb"
the directory is a Soft link to "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb" and when i look
at "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb" it is soft-linked to "/etc/X11/xkb". I think
this is usual.

The problem is neither of the directory has any content in them. And when
i try to load my X i get "Cann't load XKB keymap". I am no expert but i
believe that this is due to those "missing dirs".

Bye the way, I am running RH 7.1 (kernel 2.4.13 and 2.4.2-2) on a Compaq
Presario 1720US laptop.

Any clue what is going wrong ?

regards

P.S: I am trying to re-checkout the CVS snapshot at this moment.
