Hello!

Is there a way to stop XDM from opening up a display?

Why do I want to do this?:

I have a small LAN where I want to be able to log into each and every
computer via X. I want to start XDM on _all_ the computers so that they
attend to incoming XDMCP logins. Also, on each computer, "X -indirect
localhost" will enable a chooser menu to see _all_ computers on the network.

Unfortunately, XDM starts up a display and so does X -indirect localhost.
This is annoying esp. on my low-memory systems which don't fare well with 2 X
Servers running at the same time.

So does anyone know how to prevent XDM from starting up a display?

Many thanks,
pesarif
