Hello

Thank you for the infomation, nvidia confirmed that building from source
is fine for SMP

Another problem I have is that it does not work now!
odly typing startx overwrote the XF86Config-4 file with the alog file!
that is rarther odd, any ideas about that? the start of the file only
has n and I just called it with "startx" from a normal user

luckiy i had backed up the old one, so i can use that, but still can not
get it to work with the "nvidia" driver with opengl etc

that overwritten file contained not much, but i have attatched it.

please CC in any replys, thanks

Regards

JG
