No surprise there. 3D on the 8500 is unsupported currently. The 7500 is supported in CVS however. To answer the obvious next question you'll probably have.... "Whenever someone works on it, and submits a patch." ;o) Rumors abound that that may not be too long, but no hard data[1] at this point in time.
