Last month (or was it September) there was a discussion about tweaking the horizontal and vertical sync signals to center the Xv display (get rid of the blue edges). The suggenstion was to ideally determine the right settings internally, but this doesn't seem to have happened yet. With 4.2 getting close to release, I was hoping that we could at least get the ability to manually tweak these settings through the config file. That way I wouldn't need to keep rebuilding X on my system and could use Debian's wonderful packages again.
If everyone is too busy, I could try my hands at a patch, though I'm sure that what would take me several hours could be done by someone in the know in 5 minutes. Thanks for the great work! .Geoff ----------------------------------------------------- Protect yourself from spam, use http://sneakemail.com _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
