OK, are you running gpm (console mouse support)? Got the right mouse type
selected? (both in your XF86Config, and, er, /etc/sysconfig/mouse) Tried
en/dis-abling gpm?
Tried updating your kernel? I seem to recall something a little while
back about PS/2 resynchronisation/hotplug support causing problems not
too dissimilar...
