The message doesn't make any sense. There aren't any depth 0
visuals. I assume this means that IDL can't run in whatever
depth you are running on your XFree86 machine. IDL probably
only supports depth 8 (PseudoColor) and depth 24 (TrueColor),
and maybe only the depth 8 visuals. If you are running in
depth 16, that's likely the problem.
