hello Miles,

I checked the xfree site
http://XFree86.Org/4.1.0/manindex1.html
and some others I found on google.com but none of them mentioned xmon
and xrecord, I could not find it on red hat.com either.
i found

doclib.org - /Linux/XFree86-Current/source/X333src-1
... xc/lib/Xtst/Xtstos2.def
/Linux/XFree86-Current/source/X333src-1/xc/lib/Xtst/XRecord.c
/Linux/XFree86-Current/source/X333src-1/xc/lib/Xtst/XTest.c
/Linux/XFree86 ...
http://www.doclib.org/Linux/XFree86-Current/source/X333src-1/

but that was not what i thought i was in the end

If you know of a URL to find these programs or a newer solution I would
like to see it please.

Regards

JG
