Hi guys!

I have a question about fonts. When using antialiased fonts, the character
c+caret (that's what I think it's called, it's used in several Slavic Central
European languages and is of course in iso-8859-2) doesn't get displayed, the
place where it should be is empty. This isn't font-specific (happens with
everything I tried including truetype fonts) or distribution-specific (both
mandrake 8.0 and RH 7.2 "vulnerable" :-)) Turning off antialiasing fixes
it.

As far as I know, this one character, both in lowercase and uppercase, is the
only one experiencing this. I made a 11kB big screenshot of the situation, you
can see it at

http://panorama.sth.ac.at/font.png

There are 2 rows displaying all the characters you need for Slovak, Czech and
German language if you use ISO-8859-2 (i.e. it is the same text file, once in
konqueror and once in konsole+less). Upper row is with antialiasing, lower
without. You can clearly see that in the places where c+caret and C+caret is
in the bottom row, it is missing in the top row.

Any hints on what is causing this and how to fix it? It's been like this at
least for half a year.

Bye,
