Abraham has suggested a fix, but I'd like to point out that, although there is no hard rule about this yet, on many laptops DDC info applies to any external monitor, not to the built in screen. This should be seen as reporting that there is no (DDC-compilant) external monitor, not a failure of DDC. -- Dr. Andrew C.
