One more thing, if I understand correctly (based on reading Xserver's
messages on what acceleration features it supports for the card and on how
slow Chromium runs on my system), not all the acceleration features of my
graphics card are actually supported through XFree86 4 . Also, I filled
out the application to register with ATI, I didn't get a response from
them yet. Is this something that takes time or does it go right away
(should I be expecting a response now that the weekend is over)?
