My system is Celeron 400MHz.
         Mercury Motherboard
         Intel 810E chipset
         8.4GB Seagate Harddisk
        32MB RAM
        66MHz FSB
        2.0 GB Linux Native Partition
        300MB Linux Swap Partition
                LG Studioworks 440Si Monitor
I installed Redhat 7.0 onto my Linux native
partition. I have chosen the monitor type form the
list and XWindows started with out any problem and
asked me to chose whether I want the XServer to
startup by default.i.e I would enter my login-name in
the graphics mode. The Xserver didn't give any
problems at that time but, since my next restart( i.e
since the very first time i started after the
installation),all the boot up messages gave me OK
but,the xwindows is not starting. The message
           DOMAIN Login:
flashed for a second and the I was given the message,
according to /var/gpm.pid gpm was already running(#)
but seems to have been murdered mysteriously.

In the brackets instead of # a number was appearing
and if left the screen like that, the message is
appearing many times with the number in the place of #
increasing steadily. Not only that, the moinitor is
also flickering heavily. What could be the problem?

Thinking it to be a hardware problem, i contacted the
hardware vendor of my MotherBoard. He said that he
shall accept a complaint on my motherboard(still in
guarantee)only if i prove that it is a hardware
error.I browsed the redhat.com site but couldnot find
any links which receive users queries. Can any solve
my problem or atleast give me the URL which answers
users queries in LINUX.
