Observations:

The X server mostly works.  Did not crash in few days.
However, there is some nasty interaction with Netscape 6.2;

   Some context ``baloons'' (these poping explanations to say
   what the icon actually does :-) tend to stay on the screen
   on top of most everything (except for XEmacs).  This is with
   Enlightenment 0.16.

And it mostly works!  Attached is the XFConfig file for my system.
I hope it will save someone some searching.

Editorial:  It has been some years since I touched X code.
             The CVSup site is working well, the code simply
             checked out, compiled, and ran flaslessly (almost)
             This is GREAT!
