Hi, I dont think there is an easy answer to this problem. I have a Texas Instruments TVP4010 and am trying to get it working under X 4.1.0. I seem to be getting the problem that it can't identify the RAMDAC, or that the RAMDAC is an IBM 525 and its not supported.
I know that the RAMDAC is a TVP3026 (or at least thats what I have on my board) and from the look of it, the TVP4010 is manufactured only with a TVP3026 (from looking at the data sheet). The error says the first time around that it cant determine the IBM RAMDAC and the second time and forever after it says its an IBM 525 which isn't supported. I also get blue text in my console screen, and other colors no longer work. If anybody can give advice on this problem (besides buy a new video card) or would like a copy of the data sheet.
