Might be a problem. Acer is well known for producing not quite so
compatible solutions and withholding the specs. If you can, try a
different board, just to check this out.

Should work well. I have an ATI Rage 128 and the same Matrox working
here. Both the ATI and the Matrox as primary card work.

Seems ok. 13 is a bit much, but that depends on your PCI topology.

What do you mean by configuration? If you mean the RedHat kudzu
thingy, it probably doesn't know about two graphics cards. Anyway,
that is a RedHat problem and does not at all belong here.

Are you sure? XF86-4.1 is able to enable that card on its own. In fact
it has to be, because there is an IO-port conflict between both cards.
Only the Xserver itself can resolve it.

No, not usually.

Shouldn't matter.

No. But you can select both cards as primary display.

Yes:

1. Subject
2. which version of X are you using?
3. which architecture (i386 I guess)?
4. what does your XF86Config-4 file say?

Unless you have proper definition for multihead support in your
XF86Config-4 file, it wont work.
