I recently installed a Mandrake cooker version of XFree86 4.2 on my Toshiba
laptop with a Trident Cyber 9397 card. The original configuration using my old
XF86Config-4 file, left me with a 
display that was almost unreadable--the colors were messed. up.  After 
creating a new config file by running XFree86 -configure the display looked 
much better, but it seems to have a strange sparkly texture to it.

I saw that this sparkly characteristic was addressed in one of the older CVS 
releases, but was not able to figure out what the fix was and wanted 
to alert the developers that it is still there for me in version 4.2

Below you will find my log.  Note the last line is repeated thousands of 
times, so I have omitted it here.
