I have an IBM Thinkpad with an ATI Rage 128 Mobility LF rev2. I can
get X running without too many problems. There are still a couple of
things I'm trying to tweak though. I was under the impression that
backing-store and save-unders were performance improvements for normal
X usage at the expense of memory. Both xdpyinfo and my XFree86.log
report that backing-store is disabled. Is there some option to turn
this back on? What about save-unders? xdpyinfo tells me it is also
off although there's no mention of it in the log.
