Hello, out there... I'm trying to connect a second monitor to my Computer. With Windows (brrrr) everything works just fine, but with XFree I get a very strange output. The lines on the top of the screen are shifted by about 10-20 pixels to the right. This disappears one or two inches deeper. The monitor needs at least 20 seconds to display this. Before, it gives just a ticking sound. If I connect my Iiyama Visionmaster to the second card, I can see no problems...
My configuration: - Geforce MX400 as first head (no problems), I use the nvidia driver with that - second head: Ati Rage (4MB, PCI) card, "ati" driver; Yakumo 15", 1024x768@75Hz - Xfree86 4.2.0 I played around with the modelines, and even connected an Oszilloscope to the Ati card, to compare the Windows/X timings (strange: I have to use -HSync +VSync to get both signals positive...). Some work (with the discribed behaviour), with some of them the monitor even turns off. I hope, you can help me...
