I had the most unpleasant surprise last week at Feb 13th EST 9:58: my X clients (running XFree86 4) got disconnected form their HP Login servers. The error message in X log was: XDM: too many keepalive retransmissions This problem ALWAYS happens at this time. I did some research and I found out people having the same problem in May 2000 and September 2001. Does anyone knows about this problem? Is there a fix? Dows anyone knows when this will happen again?
