Hi,

I came across one of these last month. Here is what I found out.

Basically XFree86 4.x does not support this card. There is a comment in
the dri pages which says that the dri support for this card was just an
experiment which does not work right now. Support is being worked on in
a new Mesa/dri release.

Trying to get this card to work with the X version which redhat7.2 has,
wasn't very successful.

The card works with XFree86 3.3.x . You will need to use the 3DLabs
driver. Even then I do not think it is fully supported.

If this is wrong, I would like to know!, and get mine to work,
properly(using all the 96Mb, and the dual rasterizing chips and all the
other funky features) :-)

Thanks,

-bharath
