hi

I 've searched the Xpert mailing archive over XFree86.org & found that u
pple also 've faced the same prob which i 've been facing for the last 2
weeks. I hope u pple will help me to sort out the problem:

I have a Intel 440 BX motherboard with Celeron 366 MHZ processor. I
installed Red Hat 7.2 with X version of 4.1.0. My mouse is "Compaq" branded
& is PS/2 mouse with 6 pins. My keyboard is Focues FK 5200 & is US standard
English keyboard. Red Hat installed successfully but when i switch to GNOME
or KDE, both of my keyboard & mouse hangs totally. Even i can not turn on
the num lock light. Amazing........but perhaps u pple have found any
solution. For your convenience, plz find below a snapshot of XF86Config
file:

Section "Pointer"
Protocol "PS/2"
Device "/dev/psaux"

Section "Keyboard"
Protocol "Standard"

Basically its the snapshot. I think there is a major mistake which is not
yet solving my problem. I installed Red Hat 7.2 with X version of 4.1.0 on
my Intel 810 motherboard computer which has PS/2 mouse & standard US English
keybaord but faced no problem with keyboard & mouce any more. Any solution
which can cast me more worthful....Thank you very much.

Ihsan
